Capital Care and Foster Ltd (CCF) is a UK wide organisation offering high quality family placements, at a local level, to children and young people who are ‘looked after’ by Local Authorities / Health and Social Services Trusts. CCF provides opportunities for ‘looked after’ children and young people to achieve their full potential and to live fulfilling lives in the community.
What We Do
CCF focuses on providing a service to children and young people.
In addition to our core business, by utilising our extensive network of locally based resources and multi-discipline teams of child care professionals, CCF offers a diverse range of ‘bespoke’ service provision in the wider arena of family placement and support services to children and their families. Options include block contracts and/or spot purchased service solutions tailored to the needs of individual children/young people, or groups, referred by local authorities/ Health and Social Services Trusts or other commissioning bodies.
Our Vision and Values
The main aim of the agency is to offer every child placed with the agency a caring nurturing family environment, where s/he can have positive experience and learn skills, which enable them to move forward in their lives. This is achieved by the agency, foster carers and interested parties working to national standards, in partnership to deliver this for the child.
We foster children 0 - 18 years plus, of both sexes, sibling groups and singly.
We have children for respite, short or long term. The children may suffer from physical, emotional and sexual abuse and children suffering from neglect. We also have children with rich and diverse cultural, ethnic and religious backgrounds

We also promote a childs/young persons inclusion in society, whether at school, in the local community or helping them gain independence.
History
Capital Care & Foster Ltd has been going as a fostering agency since 1995, originally started by an ex foster carer and a business colleague. A team manager who is a qualified Social Worker manages the agency. Support is managed by the Social Workers who are qualified and Assistant Social Workers. Administration is managed and maintained by staff also qualified in their field of expertise.
Capital Care & Foster Ltd has four offices in Maidstone, Brighton, Lewisham and Manchester. As such we are able to support carers in a variety of geographical areas.
We pride ourselves in giving full support to our foster carers, 24 hours, 365 days per year.
While we do advertise for foster carers occasionally, the majority of carers have come to us as a result of recommendations. It is the agency’s aim to promote the professionalism of the fostering role through ongoing training and support.
Capital Care & Foster Ltd is able to draw on experts from a variety of fields whether education, therapy or counselling.
